About Us

Real Plants, Inc. was established in 1999 by Melissa & Frank
Real. What started out as a passionate hobby for real plants
quickly evolved into our family business.

Inspired by my entrepreneurial spirit, watering canteen in hand. I
began knocking on doors introducing customers to the beauty of
Interior plants and with determination and grit slowly began to
grow into who we are today. My husband Frank, was very
supportive and as the needs of my business grew we came to the
realization that his help was needed. So… it became official
Frank would have to join my team. We went back to school and
began learning the knowledge associated with horticulture.
Learning the fine details of plant Physiology, Entomology and
Botany enabled us to achieve a level of professionalism
necessary to provide the expertise to our customer base.

Interior Home and Office plants quickly grew to include exterior
gardens and landscape designs. Certified in ornamental
horticulture and licensed in multiple classifications of construction
we have been able to transform the day to day working and living
areas of customers seeking to beautify and enhance their
surroundings. Our knowledgeable and professional interior plant
maintenance combined with our design of exterior landscape
spaces makes for a unique group of staff ready to lend a hand to
any project small or large.
